A verify/affected-path run that fails because the workflow references a model that isn't configured/available (ModelNotExistError, "Model X does not exist", provider/credentials errors) was routed into the config-repair path -> diagnose + propose_repair kept proposing graph mutations (if-else / check nodes) that can't fix a missing model, thrashing across rounds. Add model_config_error_text() (classifier parallel to is_input_failure; pairs an existence/credential signal with a model/provider/credential token so unrelated "<node> does not exist" faults aren't swallowed). In both build and edit failure branches, when it matches, surface a clear "model not configured" diagnosis with NO staged repair and route to the await-repair gate: the user configures the model (global update_model) or changes it, then re-runs. Catalog the two new user-facing strings so the reply-language layer localizes them. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com>
